Birthday girl. On March 9, 1959, Barbara Millicent Roberts was born.  Barbie was introduced to the world at the American International Toy Fair in New York as a “teenage fashion model”, and in the years since, she has indeed become the world’s most renowned fashion model.  She has taken on a couple different careers, as well.  Barbie is an accomplished actress, gymnast, ballet dancer, architect, computer engineer, astronaut, teacher, fashion designer…and so on.
